Overview
Nepali citizens must obtain a tourist eVisa before visiting the UAE — visa on arrival is not available for Nepali passport holders. The eVisa is applied through the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) portal or through airlines like Emirates and Air Arabia. As of late 2025, Nepali applicants are required to submit a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from Nepal Police as an additional document. This followed a temporary visa suspension in September 2025, after which visas were reopened with the PCC requirement.

Valid Passport
Minimum 6 months validity, clear biometric data page scan required.
Passport-Size Photo
Recent color photo with white background.
Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)
MANDATORY for Nepali applicants (required since late 2025). Apply via Nepal Police OPCR system at nepalpolice.gov.np. Allow 7–15 working days for processing.
Confirmed Return Flight
Round-trip flight booking showing entry and exit from UAE.
Hotel/Accommodation Booking
Confirmed hotel reservation for the full stay duration.
Proof of Sufficient Funds
Bank statement showing adequate funds for the stay.
Travel Insurance
Valid travel insurance recommended — may be required by some processors.
Apply in 3 simple steps
Obtain Police Clearance Certificate
Apply for PCC via Nepal Police OPCR system at nepalpolice.gov.np. This takes 7–15 working days — start this first as it is the longest step.
Apply for eVisa
Apply via the official ICP portal (icp.gov.ae) or through Emirates/Air Arabia airline websites. Upload all documents including the PCC.
Pay Online
Pay the visa fee online. Fee varies by duration: ~AED 350–400 for 30 days, ~AED 650–750 for 60 days.
