Overview
France is a Schengen member state. Nepali citizens require a Schengen C-type short-stay visa for tourism. Applications are submitted through VFS Global Kathmandu (France visa section), with processing handled by the French Embassy in New Delhi. The visa fee is EUR 90. VFS Kathmandu accepts French visa applications only on Tuesdays and Fridays. Processing time is approximately 15 working days after submission.
