Overview

Nepali citizens are visa-exempt for tourist visits to the Philippines — no visa is required for stays of up to 30 days. Before travel, all visitors must register and obtain a free eTravel QR code at etravel.gov.ph within 72 hours before arrival. This is mandatory and checked at the airport. Despite visa-free access, immigration officers strictly enforce documentation requirements — a confirmed return ticket is especially critical and Nepali travelers have been denied boarding without one.

Required Documents

Prepare all documents before your appointment or submission.

Valid Passport

Minimum 6 months validity beyond intended stay.

eTravel QR Code

MANDATORY — register for free at etravel.gov.ph within 72 hours before arrival. Present the QR code to immigration on arrival.

Confirmed Return Ticket

STRICTLY ENFORCED — Nepali travelers without a confirmed return ticket have been denied boarding. Must show departure from the Philippines.

Hotel/Accommodation Proof

Hotel booking or address of stay in the Philippines.

Proof of Sufficient Funds

Bank statement or accessible funds to cover the stay.
