Overview

Nepali citizens are visa-exempt for tourist visits to Singapore — no visa application is required before travel. Singapore grants a 30-day Short-Term Visit Pass on arrival. However, all travelers must submit the mandatory SG Arrival Card (SGAC) online within 3 days before arrival. Despite visa-exempt status, Nepali travelers should carry proof of accommodation, return ticket, and sufficient funds, as immigration officers at Changi Airport do conduct checks and have full discretion to refuse entry.

Required Documents

Prepare all documents before your appointment or submission.

Valid Passport

Minimum 6 months validity beyond intended stay, at least 2 blank pages.

SG Arrival Card (SGAC)

MANDATORY — submit for free at eservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard or via MyICA app within 3 days before arrival. Failure to submit may result in denied boarding.

Confirmed Return/Onward Ticket

Proof of confirmed departure from Singapore within the intended stay period.

Accommodation Proof

Hotel booking or invitation letter from host in Singapore.

Proof of Sufficient Funds

Bank statement or accessible funds — approximately NPR 1.5–2.5 lakhs recommended. Immigration officers check this.

Employment/School Proof

Employment letter or student ID to demonstrate ties to Nepal and intent to return.

Apply in 3 simple steps

Step 1

Within 3 days before arrival, submit the free SG Arrival Card at eservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard or via the MyICA app. Save the confirmation.

Step 2

Prepare Travel Documents

Gather return ticket, hotel booking, bank statement, and employment letter even though no visa is required. These may be checked at Changi Airport immigration.
