Overview
Nepali citizens can apply for a Vietnamese eVisa online through the official government portal. Vietnam offers both single-entry ($25 USD) and multiple-entry ($50 USD) eVisas, each allowing stays of up to 90 days. The process is entirely online — no embassy visit required. Visa on Arrival was discontinued in 2022, so the eVisa is the primary option for Nepali travelers.
Required Documents
Prepare all documents before your appointment or submission.
Valid Passport
Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond travel dates with at least 2 blank pages.
Digital Passport Photo
4x6cm, white background, JPEG format, maximum 2MB. No glasses, straight-on view, clear face.
Passport Data Page Scan
Clear JPEG scan of your passport information page.
Credit/Debit Card
International credit or debit card for online payment of visa fees.

Visit Official Portal
Go to evisa.gov.vn — this is the new official domain since November 2024. The old domain (evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn) may still redirect.
Select Language & Apply
Select English language and click "Apply now" to start your application.
Fill Application Form
Enter your personal details, passport information, travel dates, intended entry port, and accommodation details.
